Timber Porch Canopy Build
A bespoke timber porch canopy built over a front door on a 1960s semi-detached house in Borehamwood. Structural joist frame, corbel support brackets, and a tiled pitched roof — all matching the existing property materials.
Loft Conversion — Velux & PIR Insulation
A full loft conversion with Velux roof windows and 100mm PIR insulation boards installed between and over the rafters. The old mineral wool was stripped out entirely before new airtight insulation was fitted to current Building Regulations standard.
Full Roof Retile — New Battens & Clay Tiles
A complete re-roof on a detached house — all old tiles stripped, new treated timber battens fixed to the rafters, and new machine-made clay plain tiles laid in a staggered bond. Broken verge and ridge details repaired throughout.
Flat Roof Extension — OSB Deck & EPDM
A single-storey flat roof extension with structural OSB decking installation shown mid-build. The deck is laid over insulated timber joists before the EPDM rubber membrane is applied — a method that delivers a 30-year life expectancy with zero maintenance.
