There is no universal room duration. The programme depends on substrate preparation, repair extent, plaster or board system, room size, access and drying or curing conditions. The quotation or project programme should state the assumptions for the actual room rather than relying on a generic one- or two-day figure.
Not necessarily. The plaster or repair system must be sufficiently dry or cured for the selected coating, and the product instructions should be followed. TCM should confirm the project-specific sequence rather than promise a fixed waiting period from the room type alone.
